Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Folx are responsible for paying for the time slots they have reserved for sessions. Sometimes life gets busy and changes have to be made.  In order to accommodate for that you have the following options:

  • For 50min and 90 min sessions, everyone gets one reschedule or cancellation that is less than 48 hours before their appointment, no charge. Future cancellations will be charged for the entire session.

  • For psilocybin sessions if canceled I will still charge a 60% day fee for those days as I have reserved an entire days work for that session.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule and you know before the 48 hour timeline my policy is that folx try to reschedule within the same calendar week. If we can there is no cost to reschedule.

  • If you cancel or no show within 48 hours of your appointment and I can’t reschedule within the same calendar week, then you will be charged and you will have to schedule an additional session.

  • If there is a death in the family or a loved one you will not be charged for any missed sessions

Orientation: Our greatest work in consultation is achieved through relationships. Queer folx have particular barriers in relationships. The struggles and heartache experienced in relationships throughout life are what brought you to the place of seeking Queer & Trans Care. It is through connection and relationship where we will co-create new ways of being, seeing, and experiencing self and others.

Scheduling Appointments and Billing Information: The fee for consultation will be based on a sliding scale determined by your financial circumstances, with the expected cost of $150.00 per 50 minute session. I emphasize the importance of attending all scheduled appointments. Unfortunately it has become necessary for me to charge for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice. In the event that you must cancel an appointment, please call me as soon as possible so that we may be able to make other arrangements. I understand that occasionally emergencies and weather prohibit 24-hour notice of cancellations. In such an event, I would appreciate as much notice as can be given, and I will be flexible regarding charges.

Choosing a Consultant/Practioner
: It is of utmost importance that you feel safe and confident in our working relationship. Therefore, I will assure you the freedom to seek someone who best suits your needs and purposes. You may seek a second opinion from another practitioner or may terminate sessions at any time. If something happens in our session and you want to request a 3rd party for repair you are able to bring whoever you would like to that session. If you need an organization that is inrelationship with me to get recognition you can reach out to info@thetraumaofmoney.com.

Confidentiality & Emergency Services?: You have the right to confidentiality. All sessions will be kept confidential.  Queer Care Connections has a policy against non-consensual active rescue, which means I will not call emergency services or law enforcement even with your explicit request – even if you tell me you or someone else is in danger. If you would like support requesting an ambulance or calling 911, I can assist you after informing you about that process and what may unfold.

Consultations and Supervision: Because I desire the best care for you and also hope to continually excel in my ability to counsel well, I will regularly consult with other professionals regarding clients. This creates a place for me to gain other perspectives as to how to best come alongside you in your healing and growth. Confidentiality remains a priority in these consultations.
